Nun ist es tats\u00e4chlich so weit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immer mehr Nutzer*Innen melden, dass sie die App auf ihrem Smartphone nicht mehr \u00f6ffnen k\u00f6nnen. Stattdessen erfolgt nun der Hinweis, dass Android Auto nur noch f\u00fcr Auto-Displays verf\u00fcgbar sei. Auch im Play Store ist die App nicht mehr zu finden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternative: Assistant Driving Mode in Google Maps<br>Tats\u00e4chlich war schon l\u00e4nger klar, dass Android Auto f\u00fcr Smartphones auf das Abstellgleis kommt. Auf Smartphones mit neueren Betriebssystemen funktionierte die App schon seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr. Google hat au\u00dferdem mit dem Assistant Driving Mode in Google Maps eine Alternative geschaffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Fahrmodus in der Karten-App bietet einen \u00e4hnlichen Funktionsumfang und erlaubt w\u00e4hrend der Fahrt neben der Navigation beispielsweise den Zugriff auf die Musiksteuerung. Au\u00dferdem ist er f\u00fcr die Nutzung per Sprachsteuerung ausgelegt. Allerdings bleibt man f\u00fcr die Navigation auf Google Maps beschr\u00e4nkt.
